If you frequently colour your hair like I do, this is a must-have tool even if you have all the bits and pieces from a box dye kit. You can use the pointy end of the handle to divide hair into sections neatly, use the brush side to paint the dye on, and the comb side to comb through for even spread. The brush is a good size, and the handle is sturdy. It is a bargain at $3.99. Using a brush like this ensures good coverage and I get a better job done. And if I'm just doing the roots, the brush helps to section and just apply colour to the roots. If you touch up roots often, I would recommend getting the mixing bowl as well so that you can mix only the quantity that you need for root coverage and save the rest of the unmixed product for next time.

I used the Clairol hair colouring comb/colouring brush when I recently re-coloured my hair. I used the comb part to comb the knots out of my hair which was a mistake and not what I think the comb part is intended for, especially if you have long or knotty hair (like mine). I am better off using a wide tooth comb for that job. I had my doubts whether the angled brush would be able to mix the developer and the colour cream together properly but it does. I also prefer the wider brush over my old colouring brush, it applies better and gives more coverage per stroke. The pointy end is also handy for gathering sections. Yes I can recommend this brush
